1. about this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dunno, a product by CodeArc.studio, handles information when you use the Dunno iPhone app or visit dunno.codearc.studio. This policy describes the current release design. If Dunno later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or other data practices, this policy will be updated before those practices are introduced.
2. data in the Dunno app
Dunno is designed to work without an account. The current app stores information needed for personalization and app functionality locally on your device.
information stored locally may include
- onboarding choices and broad interests;
- recommendation calibration and explicit “show me less like this” feedback;
- saved ideas and completed ideas;
- your temporary “right now” context, such as time available or energy level;
- a current “doing now” activity;
- app settings and preferences.
This information is used by Dunno on your device to rank ideas, remember your choices, and maintain app state. The current version does not require this information to be sent to CodeArc.studio.
no advertising or cross-app tracking
The current app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking technology.
resetting app data
You can reset Dunno’s locally stored app data from the app’s settings. Removing the app from your device may also remove locally stored app data, subject to Apple’s platform behavior.
3. website information
This website is built without advertising trackers, analytics scripts, marketing cookies, or user accounts. The site itself does not intentionally store personal information in your browser other than a local theme preference if you switch between light and dark mode.
Like most websites, the infrastructure used to host and deliver the site may process standard technical information needed to serve requests, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, and security logs. That information is controlled by the applicable hosting or infrastructure provider according to its own terms and policies.
4. links and email
Dunno may open external websites or your email app. If you email CodeArc.studio for support or feedback, the information you choose to include in that message will be processed for the purpose of responding to you and maintaining support records. Your email provider also processes that message under its own policies.
5. children
The current Dunno app does not require users to provide personal information to CodeArc.studio. If Dunno’s data practices change in a way that affects children’s privacy obligations, this policy and the product’s safeguards will be updated accordingly.
6. contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@codearc.studio.
7. changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Dunno changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes materially.
